Brief Background on Company
Andy OS was launched with the goal of reducing friction around software discovery and consumption. We saw that the best apps were being developed for mobile first or only, and therefore, the computing experience between mobile and PC was broken and consumers were the ones losing. Enter a full-featured mobile operating system built on unique virtualization technology, Andy OS allows users to find mobile apps in the Play Store and run them on a PC as if native to the device. A user who loves gaming can now play Clash of Clans on a PC, with a bigger screen and no concern for the practical limitations of a mobile device like storage capacity or battery life. And to tie the loop, when a user installs a mobile app through Andy OS on his PC, he can sync it to his phone or tablet with one click.
Background on Scholarship
The best minds of tomorrow’s work force have yet to be discovered, and we know that they come from all walks of life and socioeconomic backgrounds. We also believe that any financial support, large or small, can serve as a spark for someone’s education, where a different path may have otherwise been taken. With these beliefs in mind, Andy OS has created a $1000 scholarship fund.
