Ever tried walking on top of the wall? If you can just imagine walking on the very awkward space, how much more movements can you make when you have to walk on the wall the keeps on moving?

The Walls: The dreaded ending

The Walls is an arcade type of game wherein you have to bounce off the walls until you reach the end. Just tap onscreen in perfect sequence so that the ball moves on the right lane. There will be gems to collect along the way, which lets you uncover new balls to pass on the walls. Download The Walls on PC and see how far can you reach the next new levels.

Waiting for another shift

If you’re looking for a casual game with a very simple rule, The Walls will perfectly serve you well. The objective is pretty straightforward. The game starts off with a wall with very narrow lane that you have to move the ball with. You just have to take small but precise movements to do the trick but it can get complicated when the obstacles appear.

Don’t let it fall

Flicking your screen to either left or right controls the ball towards the path. The same way goes when you have to get rid of anything that block your way out.

Staring blankly on the wall

As for the design, there isn’t much to say except for; well it looks plain and simple. Although the colour changes with every new level, but that doesn’t change how we see things. On the other hand, the gameplay itself makes up for the lack of visual satisfaction because it can get so addicting. Maybe this is one thing we have to accept with most games coming up with minimal designs.

Moving places

It would have been better if they changed the entire backdrop with special themes. If not by mistake, there is one similar game with the walls changing based on the theme like for example; an outer space, a speedway and even arctic walls coming into the scene.

This may be another new phenomenon

As far back as flappy bird became an overnight success, app creators started to work on similar concept. Simple, easy to play and hard to put down. The Walls may be one of the most ambitious types of game that adopts the same style.

A look at the one way mirror

Throughout the game, you will see several obstacles that look different. They can come in many shapes, size and colours. It’s not as complicated as it may seem. After all, the game works as a means of distraction. There are also floating coins surrounding the ball as it moves and this is where you earn points. The score with the Plus sign appears by letting the ball touch it while keeping your balance in the very narrow path.   The more scores you earn, the farther you reach.

What we think

At the start of every level, you will easily obtain a score which is useful when you really want to progress in the gameplay. This is where you will appreciate the game all the more. The sound effects are tolerable as what you would expect from a game that features nothing but a wall. While we wish that they also came up with more attractive design or character, it doesn’t seem to play a role when you have a game that’s more focused on skills. At any rate, it’s still a very interesting game to try.
